1. What makes The Junk products unique?

Every piece from The Junk is crafted from upcycled industrial materials such as truck tarps and fire hoses.
Because of the nature of these materials, no two products are ever the same. Each item carries its own marks, textures, and history, making it a one-of-a-kind creation.

2. Are your products new?

Yes. Our products are newly handmade from repurposed materials. You will be the first owner.
Small marks, scratches, or signs from the materials' previous life are part of their story and add to the uniqueness of each piece.

3. How should I care for my The Junk bag?

Wipe gently with a damp cloth. Avoid machine washing, bleaching, or using harsh chemicals.
Our products are designed to be durable, but gentle care will help extend their life even further.

4. Do you accept returns?

Yes. If you are based in the Netherlands or the EU, you can return your order within 30 days of receiving it. Because each piece is one of a kind, we kindly ask that items are returned unused and in their original condition. Please note that return shipping costs are not covered by The Junk and are the responsibility of the customer. If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will of course offer a full refund or replacement.

5. Do you offer custom designs?

We do not offer custom designs for individual purchases.
However, we do collaborate with businesses (B2B) for special projects, corporate gifting, and custom retail partnerships.

6. How long does shipping take?

Netherlands: 1–2 business days

Germany: 2–3 business days

Europe: 3–5 business days

International: 5–7 business days

Shipping times may vary slightly during peak periods. You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.

7. Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times will be calculated during checkout based on your destination.

8. Can I track my order?

Absolutely. As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number so you can follow your package until it arrives.

9. Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If you need to update your shipping address or cancel your order, please contact us at info@thejunkdesign.com within 12 hours of placing your order.
After an order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be changed or canceled.

10. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
For customers in the Netherlands, we also accept iDEAL for a fast and secure local checkout experience. Depending on your location and device, additional payment options such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Bancontact, Klarna or Shop Pay may also be available at checkout.

11. Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Our website uses SSL encryption to protect all personal and payment information.
Your data is securely transmitted, and we do not store any credit card information on our servers.

12. What if my product is damaged during shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, please email us at info@thejunkdesign.com within 14 days of receiving it, with your order number and photos if possible.
We will assist you promptly.
